What’s My Experience?
Ryan De Amicis // Helping People Use Money to Build Their Faith Since 2013
After completing my Business Finance degree from San Jose State University in the Spring of 2013, I joined Christian Wealth Management hoping it would be a stepping stone to a successful career at Fidelity Investments — It appears the Lord’s plans for my life were different.
Over the last decade, I’ve partnered with families and small businesses to balance giving, saving, and spending — I call this enjoying — the resources we’ve been trusted with. While I currently live in potato land (Boise), I have clients in over 20 states.
Why Christian Wealth Management?
Choosing the Wrong Master
Money motivated me since I watched Catch That Kid and thought, “I need a go kart.” So, my beautiful, gracious mother taught me how to bake brownies and drove me down to the local Safeway to sell them as shoppers left the store. Eventually, I sold enough brownies to buy a go-kart. At 16 years old, my discerning father encouraged me to make my first stock investment.
While my faith driven parents taught me to tithe, my life battle is withdrawing from the call of the wrong master, mammon. Since 2021, I’ve been on a personal journey of breaking the power of money in my life, and I am blessed to be working with beautiful families who’s goals are the same. Lord, thank You for shutting the doors at Fidelity Investments.
What Else?
Just Trying to Live a Life of Worship
My oldest hobby is drums — not including business or making jokes that I have to convince people to laugh. I’ve been playing for church since I was 15 years young.
There are few things quite like playing drums for a church congregation that is bent on making their praises heard. In fact, it’s kind of like when I visit with a client that is wanting to worship the Lord with their finances.
My friends and family call me a coffee snob, clean freak, and a basketball feen.
